| The Valle del Este golf course is an 18 hole, par 71 golf course of 5,696 meters, 4,808 for ladies. The desert of Almeria surrounding the course, offering occasional glimpses of the Mediterranean, and the folds of the terrain make for a spectacle of visual contrast and a perfect setting to enjoy golf in. Wide fairways, elevated tees, receptive greens with a wide range of flag positions, as well as strategically-positioned water hazards and bunkers to make each hole an authentic challenge regardless of your standard of play.
Designed by José Canales and opened in July 2002 the course is perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape making use of indigenous vegetation and natural contours of the land, creating a stunning oasis in the desert of Almeria . There is a good combination of very challenging holes, with other less strenuous holes. The course design and setting make it quite spectacular. The tees are particularly noteworthy, positioned on small raised platforms surrounded by volcanic rock. The fairways are wide and there are a lot of large sand bunkers on the course as well as 3 lakes and several waterfalls. All in all, a real challenge for players of all levels. |

The course is complete with floodlit driving range (air-conditioned in summer), 2 putting greens, 2 short play greens and teaching facilities. The pro shop is fully equipped with everything a golfer may require including buggies with on-board GPS. The Club House includes a club room, games room, outdoor swimming-pool, locker rooms and a whole range of services including internet access. |
